HAHA, the last page of this thread just now had a...wait for it...ad for Weather Tech flloor liners, just underneath the lat post by mister aries himself...now that is fabulous and fantastic all at once

 

I ordered a set of Weathertechs and installed them after picking up the truck last night.. I read all the arguments on here weighed the pros and cons and it simply came down to the Aries lacking dual post mount system that the 2011 models have.. As you realized the 2010 has a single post mount on the drivers side while the 2011 has two. The Aries mats have not been updated to utilize both posts while the Weathertechs have. Since having the most secure drivers side was my priority the Weathertechs were the best choice for me..

 

Yeah, well after giving me 16K off the 40K MSRP, and 20K for my trade that was only worth 10K, my dealer also gave me the ESP for free and the best floormats. Also my truck is faster than any other truck made. I have the 5.0 but get better mpg than an ecoboost, I get 26mpg and can tow 15K lbs. PS next year I am going to trade my truck in for 45K and get a 2012 for 27K.......

Seriously folks, get the floormats that work for you and your budget!! I've had Husky mats and Weathertech, and both worked well for the $$ spent.

I won't spend $220 for mats, but will find either previously mentiond brand for about $140.

The tan weather techs look sweet in my truck. Love the full floor in the back. To be fair, I called Aries directly and asked about the dual posts and full floor in the back with a cutout for the factory sub. Hand to God, he referred me to weather tech too. Geez.

Hopefully Sultan isn't posting about the next mod/accessory I'm after. I never been so amused on a truck forum.

 

Yes, "had to". You might notice that the thread was dormant for nearly 3 weeks before your noob *** dug it up just to insult me with one of your very first posts to this forum, congratulations.

Also if you had been paying attention you would know that Aries doesnt make a full rear floor mat, only Weathertech does, which is why I have both and which is how I know that Aries quality is far superior to weathertech. But I guess we cant expect a noob who starts talking smack in his first couple posts to actually know anything about that when hes clearly just looking to stir things up again.

One could assume you are one of the original trolls who wants to keep trolling me without getting your original account banned based on your juvenile behavior and actions of your first posts with this account, or else you are just less than average intelligence, take your pick. Either way this floormat discussion has been beat to death and there is no new information to add other than someone has told me that Aries is now finally making a dual post version, which is why I tend to believe you are just troll. If you would like more information about floormats please feel free to search this forum, you will find many discussions on them in the last year or so.

If you are indeed a new member you might try not insulting people with your very first posts to the forum as it makes you look very ignorant and immature and will cause people to not care about helping you or answering your questions later on down the line if you actually have real questions. Glad you like your floormats and good luck in your future endeavors.

 

Its funny, I called Aries and they told me to call TruckCandy.com to order the 2 hole mats for my 2011. Got them and they fit perfect, super supple rubber and look great with lifetime warranty. Just my 2 cents..

Weather Tech is clearly the market leader & the simple fact that Aries doesn't offer the dual post option tells me that they dont give us, the consumer, enough consideration. If they did they would be on top of things like Weather Tech!
