I know Ive never owned a stock V8 that will spin the tires while doing 40 mph, when you mash the accelerator!

There is a delay but it doesn't feel like typical turbo lag to me. Feels more like a wonky shift strategy.

And yes. Some are quieter than others. Mine is almost whistle free except right at the exhaust pipe and at wot.

It's probably just me then.. Probably not getting on the gas hard enough. I'll give it some more time and get more miles on it, then I'll see what it's made of.

Put it to the floor man it will be ok it won't break. And pull the trigger on the livernois tune I got it when I had 500 miles on my truck. 7,500 on it now and it is perfect power and torque all day and smooth shifting and firm at wot you will not regret it. Livernois tune makes the truck a force to be reckoned with. Ford should have made it that way out of the box like livernois tuned it. Do it do it lol. You will not be sorry you did!

Trust me when you mash the pedal, it will make you glad you traded in the Toyota for the F-150!

Mine had great power until I had the CAC TSB done and the PCM updated. It lost a bunch of power. I ordered an SCT tune last night.

I was taking my Father-in-Law for a test ride and after turning a corner I hit it at about 35 miles per hour and actually left rubber. Haven't done that for more than 50 years. Maybe the 3.73 rear end, but it certainly has more power than I was expecting.
