Default No tire pressure read out?

Just bought a brand new f150 platinum a week ago and just realizing that there is no digital tire pressure read out. Am I just totally mssing on how to get to it or is there no read out at all on the pressure? Do the wheels come equipped with sensors? Just curious....

There are sensors, but they only tell you when they are low (not sure what pressure that is). No readouts!

Unfortunately, not as cool as Dodge either! I had a blowout over the weekend in my 2011 F150 4x4. That is when I discovered my truck didn't have the actual tire pressures in its fancy digital dash. I'm really disappointed. The data must be getting collected from the sensors in the wheels, so this is really just a software issue . This should have been in the requirements when writing the software for the digital dash.

Even though the actual tire pressure isn't displayed in the dash, you would have received a low pressure warning if the tire was low before it blew out.

What is the threshold for which the truck alerts you?

30? 25?

It may vary from one model to another. Look at the door sticker to see what Ford wants the tires to be.

These may not send data, they may just be an on and off switch.

+1 on the Ram having individual readout for the tires. You would think they would have spent the extra time on that for the fancy display instead of the animated ford tough thing on startup.

Also a little disappointed that the only thing on the digital gauge display is the trans temp and there already is an analog guage on the dash, my '13 mustang has cylinder head temp, intake air temp, air fuel ratio, oil temp and a couple others.
