Oh i agree stay OEM for stuff like this, the Dealership tried OEM sensors and they would not work with the wheels that i had, something about the signal not getting out cause they were to think. the wheels i got for my truck Fuel Vector 18x9" D601 Wheel (6x135mm/01mm Offset) Gun Metal w/ Black Lip I went to real truck and ordered new TPMS that can be programmed by anyone.

Hopefully they work. Dealers say all sorts of crap. It's getting really insane. You meant "too thick", right? I find OEM wheels thicker than aftermarket usually. Utter crap from them to disguise the fact that they don't know as much as they should about their own stuff.

Maybe the Dealership was talking about their own Skulls being to thick since it is a radio transmitter that could possibly transmit through the rubber on the tire also.

Agreed makes no sense to me and you’d think they would want to make money. Sensors I got come from the same company that makes Fuel Wheels so we will see. If it don’t work I’ll just be stuck with a dash light on or maybe try another dealership who knows in 2020
