Default New Trade-In Incentive Added

So they just recently added the extra $1000 trade in incentive for F150's on top of the already great incentives (5500-7500 total).

I am in no rush to make a purchase, but I understand that the 2011's go into production sometime around November.

Is there any reason to remain patient in hopes that there will be even more mark downs in the future? The truck I have picked out has been sitting on the lot for a month and a half now and the dealer keeps sending me emails.

I am not interested in the 2011 so I am just trying to make the best decision here. I thought the recent incentives were great and then they added the extra $1000. Now, I'm questioning myself.

Any idea?

Was emailed by the dealer and it has been posted in the forum as well. If you search by incentives, somebody mentioned it already.

Good catch...

It was emailed to me by the dealer because I was trading in a non-Ford vehicle.

Thanks for the clarification.

I picked up my truck last week and they did give me the extra $1,000.00 on top of my trade.

I brought my car to CarMax for their free appraisal which actually came out much higher that what the used car department at Ford quoted. My dealership honored the CarMax quote and then added the extra thousand on top of it!
