New tires- duratracs- what psi?
After some issues with my stock tires Goodyear swapped them out for me through discount tire and gave me full replacement cost towards any new set I wanted. I thought I'd try some duratracs. With the load range on the new tire being E, what pressure should I run in them? Discount set them to 50psi, which is going to ride a bit rough for my taste. Can I still run 40?

Keep mine at 50psi in the front and 45psi in the rear.

On an f150 why have the extra PSI in the front the engine weighs crap all, its not like your running a diesel....keep them even, and rotate them every 6000 miles or 10000km., if your hauling add pressure to your rear tires, that's where the real weight is.

Keep in mind, lower air pressure will reduce tire wear mileage. To what degree depends on several factors. Although running tire pressure on the high side will give you a rougher ride but your tires will last longer. It's a trade off either way you go. I've always gone for the higher tire mileage.
