Oops, I see you have already contacted the IVTeam. The're good, and have helped me on several occasions.

If you would, let us know what the problem was. I need to update my '13 again, and may need that info. Thanks

What I've gathered from these sync update threads since joining this forum: don't update.

Hi bjax0175,

In order to update to version 3.8, you must have the flash drive formatted for FAT32 and on there should be a SYNCmyride folder with zipped files), Autoinstall.lst, and Dontindx.msa files only. If you see anything different then, things will need to be adjusted. I'm here to help!

Thanks for the tip Joy. I've found it's best to re-format a brand new flash drive before it's used.

It's a must for those off brand GM vehicles as their systems are quite aggravating.

Does updating the sync to version 3.8 fix the GPS issue some are having?

Once in a while my GPS looks like I'm crossing through peoples back yards and the ocean.

My 2013 F150 SCREW Lariat is in for service and when I mentioned it to them they said there is an update fix and they would have to charge me $126 to do it. I thought I would just do it myself for free but I am not sure if updating to version 3.8 will fix that. I also bought and installed an A6 card but that didn't fix anything.

For what it's worth: it was pretty obvious to me that you wanted help getting your sync updated. Some people like giving others a hard time.
