Default New starter

Probably need a new starter. What do you think? Motorcraft, Denso, Bosch? WAI, which is part Denso? I don't think I've ever owned a Ford in which I did NOT install a starter. 165k miles. Kinda thinking maybe a non-Motorcraft might be better, at least from quality brands. Price on this is not a factor.

I still need to do a thorough check on the cable. Super cool that the starter cable now costs more than the starter itself. It mostly only seems to have trouble on the first start in the morning, not totally sure it's the starter, yet.

New if you can, some of the rebuilt stuff can be shoddy (even if it comes in a big brand name box).

Definitely only looking at new. Leaning towards Bosch.
