New headlights
Actually, the light output is the same as the stock headlights. With wet roads the light blends in with the pavement with both the stock and these new ones. The highbeams though really light up the road nicely, something I was not expecting. The MKT I had used HID's and they weren't much better than these, the only difference was the color of the light didn't blend into the road like halogens do.
Stock reflectors, the ones that come on all trucks that are not HID.
I also verified that the lights aren't blinding oncoming by having my wife drive the truck while I drove her Focus. I can see the lights, but not the bulb itself, the projector lens is muted, not overpowering like some GM and Toyota lights are. Buick SUV lights are the worst, those freaking things shine right at you.
If Silverstars weren't so short lived, they have the correct output color to not get lost on a dark wet road. Those were in a Chevy 1500 I had last year before getting the F150. Light output was perfect.
