Default New FX4

Just bought a Black 2013 FX4 last weekend.

Made a trip from Jacksonville down to Tampa and back. The truck is amazing and drives really smooth. Already close to 1000 miles on it so far.

Got the 5.0 instead of the Eco just because I came from an 07 BMW 335 with a similar turbo set up as what's on the 3.5 v6 and they never smoothed out their problems until a couple of years down the road and was just hesitant especially with some of the problems I've read about on here.

Averaged 18.2 mpg door to door on the trip back with the cruise set on 78.

Will post some pics when I get on a computer, apparently you can't from an iPad...

that's pretty good. 3.55 or 3.73 rear? crew or supercab? I get like 15 going 80 with my 3.55 crew cab 5.4L.

Congrat's On the New Ride!!

I went with the 5.0 as well on my New 2012 Screw for the exact same reasons, the Eco it hasn't proved its self yet and i like the sound of a V8

Cheers!

What made you make the drive from Jax to Tampa? Was it just the in-stock choices?

I'm in the Julington Creek area myself.

Most likely 3.55 but now 2013 FX4s have option for 3.73.

Haven't they always had 3.73 for fx4?
