Default New Fuel pump?

I’ve been having an issue with random stalling. I’ve narrowed it down to the tank pump because it’s only pushing 14psi. Part number DL3Z9H307A.
has anybody ever used “replacement brand” it’s consistently the most cost appealing.

You’re going to get pretty much unanimous support for OEM, here.

Just to be sure have you done the fuse 27 fix before you drop coin on a new pump? This is, of course, assuming you have one of the affected engines.

I’ve checked and my fuse 27 is ok. It’s a strange issue it starts and runs. If I shut it off warm it will struggle start again. 14psi is way low it’s 45 minimum. I just wonder if this pump will work for a year or so before I sell the truck and get a newer one.

I would not risk a cheaper fuel pump. That's not an easy thing to just swap out. just my .02

Your call. Maybe check out rock auto for OEM, they are normally cheaper than some of the local stores.

I did they were really close to the same price and I got the one that came faster. I might regret it. As well as proficient in fuel pump replacement

I installed a Spectra Fuel pump from Rock Auto last August, been just fine for me. I also have two used Ford OEM fuel pumps, see my ad on the marketplace:

thank you. I ordered the “Replacement” brand one. I’ll likely replace it if I hang on to the truck but I’d like a newer one here shortly
