New to the Ford World
So I have been a GM guy from the early 2000s. While I cannot badmouth GM because they never let me down, I finally made the conversion because I finally came to the realization that Ford makes a better truck. I opted for the 5.0 because I wanted a more simpler motor to work on. I had a hard time deciding between a 2012 F150 Lariat and a 2013 Lariat. The 2012 had a moonroof and the bed step and 3.73 gears and the 2013 had the My Ford Touch console, and 3.55 gears. Both vehicles had around 100k on the speedometer. I opted for the 2012 because I like the look of the console better, newer updates to the 5.0, and I think the 3.55 gears is the best of both worlds in terms of towing and fuel economy. I really like this truck!
