I'm trying to decide between the supernova v.3 led bulbs from headlight revolution or getting these. Anyone used the supernovas by chance? Headlight revolution has a YouTube video about which led would work best in stock housings and they don't look bad and would be cheaper than new lenses and an hid setup

You would still have the horrible looking housings if you went with the LEDs.

Alright, I've read through all of this and will probably jump into this as I've wanted to do an HID Conversion forever.

Just to confirm, buy a set of these headlights, EVO-R2.0's, and a D2S: MORIMOTO ELITE Kit, and I'm good to go?

Looks like a good way to do a conversion, $240ish for the lights, $120 for the EVOs, $160 for the wire kit and you are good to go.

All of your trucks look terrific with these housings! Has anyone had any success with LED bulbs? It seems the consensus is putting in an HID kit. I'd be curious to see how LEDs perform. (Sorry if that has been posted - this thread is 42 pages long) I am now seriously considering getting these...

I have a cheap ebay LED conversion in my housings and the light output is terrible, the color is great and they match my led pod fog lights but if your looking for better output go with HID. I don't mind the output because my fogs light up the road plenty for me and my mostly city driving.

Do you know what the lumen output is from your LEDs? Did you post a pic anywhere in this thread of your light output? Thanks for the feedback!

Post #82 shows mine with LED's and #412 is after I switched to HID's. LED's looked great but they don't have the hot spot or distance of HID's
LED's where auxbeam F-16 series, 6k color and 3000 lumen per bulb.
HID's are 35watt 5500k
