Excuse my ignorance but wouldn't buying a set of these headlights along with the $160 TRS HID bundle be the cheapest way to convert to HID. Looks really close to factory and would be under $500.

yes and would perform better than OEM undoubtedly, especially with a quality bulb and ballast

AVS 322001 Aeroskin. just search the item number on ebay and you'll find one for like $40

Got mine installed today. Haven't tried them out yet besides in the garage, but I lined my wife's edge with projectors next to mine and they are just as good as her factory setup. High beams seem to shine pretty far compared to the regular halogens. I left the light bulb that came with it because I will probably do an hid swap this summer sometime. I'm definitely happy with them, big improvement!

Well drove this morning with them and they arent any worse than what I had before. They reach out farther without blinding people which is nice. More focused light but isnt as bright on the ground directly in front of you though. I can't wait to put an HID in there!

looks good! I too noticed the same light output results. I have the morimoto LED fog lights and they help a ton up close
