Default New CAC finally came in. Truck at dealer now.

Well, they ordered the new CAC the first week of November and it finally came in (TSB 12-10-19).
I hope the truck runs well when I get it back and that there is no loss of power with the new reflash.......will update as I learn more.

From your mouth to God's ears!
Does the power seem to be the same too?

The dealer reflashed mine when they first ordered the CAC. Frankly, I didn't notice a whole lot of difference. Has developed a occasional bog when pulling away from a stop though. The CAC got installed earlier this week and I've noticed no difference. Wondering what the purpose of the deflector is? Seems as if it only serves to block the cooler which would only serve to raise the intake temp? I did notice the tab off the computer cover got broken so the dealer also replaced the cover. No change in MPG's.

I really can't tell on the power due to the fact I'm really stay off of it ( punching it)for the rest of this tank to see my actual mpg is a plus. It seems a little more responsive but that could just be me wishing . I always thought this truck had a slow throttle reaction .

Well, picked up the truck about an hour ago. Idles smoother than it did before, mpg seems about the same, but hard to tell as I was booting it pretty hard a couple of times. No return of the condensation ingestion at this point.
The power seems to be a bit down....hard to tell, but doesn't seem to have the same butt dyno surge it did before.

I'm sure they reflashed the computer. Give the tranny time to relearn your driving style.

Hmm good. I think I'm not even going to bother with this TSB unless I have the intercooler problem, which is pretty unlikely. Just don't have the weather to test it to see right now..But the odds are so minimal.
