I was gonna, but everyone has 22s now so I wanted to go 24, but I don't want to lose so much sidewall. My 20s have a sidewall height of 55, I figured 40 wouldn't be too bad but I wouldn't want to go any shorter. I would care if I ended up with a over all 35" and had to do a level kit and raise the rear also to keep the rake but he said they didn't make any larger sidewall in a 24 cause they usually go on cars. My current size over all is 32 and I think these rims with the 40 sidewall would be 32.5 he said.

But if your just wanting opinions on the wheels themselves I like them! Just glad I'm not the one putting the tires on!
I was kinda wondering about the bumper affecting the look also buy I think it would be ok. Those ruins are supposed to be black but they look kinda chrome in the pic.

I think Falken makes a 305-45-24 tire

I've noticed sidewall height doesn't start to be a problem until your aspect ratio reaches about 30 sometimes 35. With 40 you should have enough to not need to worry about bent rims driving through pot holes but definitely avoid high speed hits through pot holes or divots to be sure.

30 is also when they become a real bitch to put tires on lol. Did a flat repair on a tire with a 25 aspect ratio the other day and I had to use the strong arm and 3 tire irons to get that thing back on lol.

Yup, no hood up here, the rims will be safe from hooligans, lol! just a bunch of oilfield rednecks with jacked up trucks. That's why I wanna go the other way, they are all jacked up around here.

35-24 tire can take a couple of hard hits (i hit a curb at 15mph and it took the hit well) so im pretty sure a "40" is safe

Yes that was my concern. I run over curbs no problem with the 55s, the 40s look like they could still handle it ok if I slowed down.
