Default Need tire advice

My local service manager is talking with Goodyear about my abysmal mileage...3/32 left at 26k factory stock tires. They are willing to adjust if I go back with Goodyear. Can I get your thoughts on a good Goodyear tire for 2011 Screw xlt 18". Have no idea what the adjustment will be. Looking for some good info from the group to help with a decision. I trust my fellow F150 owners opinions as much if not more than anonymous reviews on tirerack etc.

That is strange. You made me check mine, and at 22,000 miles I have 11/32 front, and 10/32 back on stock 18" Goodyear Wranglers, and I tow about 25%.

Do you keep your tire pressure right at 35-36 psi faithfully? Is your tire gauge accurate?

Are these SRAs? I've heard they aren't very good tires.

If you're getting goodyears then you can't go wrong with duratrac. Especially if you're getting a discount.

I ran duratracs on my ranger, and they were the best tires I ever bought, unbelievable traction in rain, sand, mud, gravel, snow, and ice!!! I'm buying a set for my f150 ASAP

I thought they where supposed to wear out in 30,000 miles.

I will replace my goodyears with Michelin LTX M/S2 which also happen to have a 70,000 mile warrantee.

I know this is a bit off topic, but do you air up your tires (50 psi) when you tow? How much are you towing?

I have the 18" Wrangler AT/S Load Range C stock tires.

Thanks

This is exactly what I am going with when time. I have a quote for just over $1100 with road hazzard warranty for 255/70/17
