Need some opinions on font for custom TWIN TURBO emblems
#11
I am with the train of thought that I strip badging off my vehicles. It just looks cleaner. but, If you are going to go through with moar emblems, make sure they match the font of what you have on the truck. I would hate for it to look like the cheap chrome emblems and letters you can buy at advance

I'm getting some custom made aluminum twin turbo emblems made for my Ecoboost. They are going to be powder coated red to match the skid plate on my bull bar. I'm putting one on each side of the cowl hood and one on the tailgate.
I need some opinions on font. I downloaded these cool fonts but can't decide on a favorite.
Don't have any pics with the new red skid plate yet. Just put it on today. I'll clean her up tomorrow and post some pics.
Let me know what number of font you like best. The smaller black print under each "TWIN TURBO" is the name of that custom font. You can just ignore those.

There all a bit too busy for me... I prefer something very clean, San Serif, a bit of lean to it... This is a tweaked Helvetica Neue Bold

The EcoBoost is a great motor, don't get me wrong, BUT the 'Twin Turbo' makes the 3.5L V6 act like and have the power of a V8. Generally when you see Twin Turbo emblems, they are on something exotic that is already fast and with the addition of Twin Turbo's is now insane. A Twin Turbo 3.5L V6 in a full size truck isn't something flattering that is going to make you intimidate anyone or even look cool doing it. It actually makes the truck look like a domestic version of a Ricemobile. I agree with comparing it to the "Fuel Injected" or "High Intensity Spark Plugs" comment. The EcoBeast is about the only change I would vote for.

Thanks. It's printed on a removable wall graphic material. It fits perfectly over the stock ecoboost emblems.
I do agree that I don't care for any of the fonts, and number three was the one I liked best it of your choices.
I would prefer something more understated like Eurostyle or perhaps Serpantine, or even Helvetica light extended.

I don't have my truck yet, so I'm a bit ahead of my self, I drew these up, bit rough right now, I like the look of the black ecoboost logo, which this is based off of. Have any suggestions or comments? I plan on having it fabricated from stainless or aluminum.
Edit: I'm not sure if i want to shorten up the image or put something there. Don't want to copy the cobra, be a bit too tacky.

Oh, now I have a new nickname for my Eco. Ecobeast. My friends call my truck the "Egoboost" for some reason.
