Default need some info or help please

Hey guys what i am looking to do is put a set of 22" rims and tires on my 2011 ford f150 fx4 but im NOT looking for the big aggressive mud tire look, I did that to my last truck and I found every time I drove by some mud in a field I couldnt help but go and play, needless to say I beat the crap out of that truck. Some guys might say why did you buy the fx4? well I live in Ottawa,Canada where we get **** loads of snow and having 4wd is nice, plus I love fishing and hunting so you need the 4wd there to,I am keeping the stock rims and putting more aggresive tires on that so when I need to I can switch them over.
What I want is a nice sleek look on stock suspension. So what kind of offset/backspace do I need so I dont rub?

so basically I want to run 22's on stock suspension with no rubbing.

I'm sorry, but I have to ask...

Why would you get a 4x4 truck, and put 22"s on it?? Just curious. Not hijacking.

My 4WD works just fine for the driving conditions I've encountered, usually for getting in/around camp sites and when boon docking, and even then I just use the 4A mode. In inclement weather, no issues since I have all-season tires. I still have my stock wheels if things get really sticky.

And truthfully, for what a lot of people do with their trucks, the use of 4WD to its maximum capability will likely never be utilized. I've yet to come across a situation where I need 4L.

For the same reason I woukd ask why do people take a 2wd truck and lift it or why do people take 4wd trucks and lift them and put huge mud tires on them but never take them offroading?

The answer is because we want to

Oh yea, wheels are 23" with 305/40 Falken tires and 44mm offset all around. Didn't want to go with the staggered wheels because I like to be able to rotate my tires.

Is it a smart thing to run 23 inch wheels? How badly will the lack of the sidewall effect handling ad ride comfort? Do I ever want to tow anything? and so on...... If you made up your mind your going to do 23 inch wheels dont ask if its ok.....
The OP is asking about 22" wheels and FWIW, come standard on HD Trucks and the Lariat Limited.
