I'm new to this forum and new to truck ownership. I bought this thing so that I can tow a track car that I want to build. But the truck will be my daily driver. I love to mod my vehicles. I've already swapped the exhaust for a Roush cat back and will be buying their intake soon. The V8 sounds awesome.

I don't want to lose all the gas mileage that I currently have but I do like the look of a 2" lift and more agressive tires.

What would you guys do next?

I want to add that I'm usually a black on black kind of guy but I want to keep the chrome thing going on the truck. My top choice for wheels right now is the 20" Chrome Fuel Pumps.

Why don't you check the site out and see what interests you. If anything 'WOWS" you, take note and do it for yourself. The last thing I would to hear is somebody else telling me what to do with my truck.

I've been surfing this forum for the last month. There are a lot of mods that I like but for one I do not know what will work well together.

Maybe I should word this question this way.

Scenario 1: I'm thinking a 2" level with 20" Chrome Fuel Pump wheels w/ 275/65-20 Toyo open Country AT2 tires.

Scenario 2: Or 2" level with 18" Chrome Fuel Pump wheels w 285/75-18 Toyo open Country AT2 tires.

I understand that I will have to recalibrate the speedometer with either scenario. Will either scenario work without rubbing? Can I get opinions on which would be better?

The first mods I did were to get a 2" level and 285/75/18 Toyo AT II's. I have been very happy with this set up. Here is a pic so you can see what they look like with a 2" level.

I think a chrome set of 20"s on a 35" mud tire would look killer on that truck. Especially in that color.

Keep us posted!
