Default Need some concrete answers - Wheels/TPMS/Lug Nuts

Purchased some toys for my Platinum and had planned to get everything installed today, and ran into multiple issues.

The shop I used didn't have any lug nuts that would work with the Saleen S331 23" wheels so they couldn't be mounted.

The TPMS sensors I purchased (the ones built into the valve stem) won't stay secured on the wheels.

So right now, the wheels, tires, and TPMS sensors are paperweights in my garage. Need some guidance here!

I used the sensors from my factory wheels on my new aftermarket wheels. They were the same kind you have. I also got the lug nuts from the place that shipped/sold me the new wheels.

I would suggest contacting Saleen or the place you bought the wheels from, and see if they can provide you with the lug nuts and sensors for those wheels.

Good luck, and post pictures when you get this worked out.

Not sure why the sensors won't stay secured, they just drop right back out of the stem opening. I'll call Saleen tomorrow for lug nuts, was trying to see if I could find a local solution, no dice looks like.

Will post pix when it's all done. It looks like next week at the earliest. Hopefully since I have audio/video expertise, the car audio install should be easy by comparison.

Some wheels have bigger holes for the valve stems than others. When I was teen working at a full service gas station we had two different diameter valve stems we used. Maybe Saleen can get those for you too.

Yeah I'm sure Saleen can get me what I need, I just have to send the TMPS sensors back from the vendor I purchased from on ebay. Was trying to avoid that, considering how aggravating it is to return products bought online.

Where did you buy the wheels? New? Just curious.

Saleen uses the Gorilla lug nuts to secure their F-150 rims. Part # 61108XL *The seats are smaller.

*Have a lifetime warranty.

^ I'll check those out and see if I can find a set. Now just need to find a solution for the TPMS.
