Need some advice on Tire Size
Anyone out in the Ford Forum world now anything about tires?
I am looking to replace my current tires (255/65/17) with some larger ones to help fill in all the open space with out having to change anything else out. What size would I be looking for?
2009 F150 XLT Super Crew stock rims.

You might be surprised at how much taller a 255/70R17 will be.
Do a Google search for "powerdog tire size calculator", and use the web page to figure out diameters and circumferences of different tire sizes.
Then go to www.tirerack.com and find out what tires are available in the different sizes (***You do NOT want to pick an odd-ball tire size that you might have trouble replacing if you have to replace just one in the future due to a blow out or something)
