Default Need Opinion On The Look With Level Kit

Ok, I have commented on another post about this lift. I just had the 1" level kit put on today. I was going for less than what turned out. I am 1-7/16" higher than stock. Front is 9/16" lower than rear. I was hoping for a little less of a raise in the front. I am getting it aligned Saturday and hoping it will drop a hair more. I am not into off road tires. I drive my truck for business a lot on the highway and 25k miles + a year. I like to keep no more aggressive than All Terrains on it. I am planning on going to the 60 series, 275/60-20. I just want opinions of the new look. Please ignore the dirt.

Look's good...some 275x60x20's (33x11) will make it look even better!

Looks just right to me. A tiny but nose down, I'd like my truck like that. I just haven't had the time or money to get it done yet.

This.

Here is a list of consumer survey results from tirerack.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey....jsp?type=ORAT

Gives you a bunch of good ideas on what tire you could go with. Although tirerack doesn't have Nittos Terra Grapplers, Toyo Open Country AT IIs, or Cooper Discoverer AT/3s or ATPs which are all great tires, this is a good list to start with. All three tires above that I mentioned are also very highly rated.

If you decide to go with an all-season/more highway style tire with a larger mileage warranty, I think the Michelin LTX MS/2s are your best bet. They are the highest rated truck "highway" tire and you will definitely get your moneys worth out of them. I've read/heard they perform well in almost every condition, not so sure about mud but that doesn't sound like something that would be an issue for you.

I am leaning towards Cooper AT/3's. Family friends own a tire shop and I have been buying from them for 20 years. They sell any brand so I am not limited. Tires for my F-350 with the 20" rims are $1250-$1400(depending on purchase time) for the set so I am not spending that much on these. I want an All Terrain but this is an odd size and don't want to go to a 65 wall.

Ya, I like that idea. Less side wall, without going too less, is the way to go in my opinion.

I'm going to be buying Cooper ATP 265/70/18s for my truck here in the next day or two and I wish I had 20s to go with the size you are going with, but I don't have the money to upgrade .

I am on the fence with the 20" rims. I have had the factory 20" rims on my '07 F350 SRW since day 1. Could never get more than 25K miles out of them. At over $1K a pop every year, I got tired of it. I like the 18" rims. FYI- My wife has BFGoodrich ALL Terrains T/A's on her H3. She came home tonight and said, my tires look too small now.

Dang, really? What tires have you been using?

That's pretty funny about your wife. Maybe get her a set of Coopers too? =P
