Hey guys i've got a 2010 XL. Last night I was driving home and an owl swooped down in front of me and I hit it. It cracked my grill (one of the black plastic ones). It's barely noticeable but I'm looking for a new one, preferably chrome but black will work. I think the 2009 grills will fit too. I'm sure if I get one from Ford it'll cost me a fortune. If anybody has one to sell or knows a good website get back to me.

I ran into a shopping cart in a parking lot. it was dark (overhead light was out), my headlight was shooting a little too high, didn't see it when I pulled into the parking space. so the handle put out the grille & pass headlight bezel. ('84 F250 HD custom)

bezel was ok to find, but that grille was a PITA! was the gray box crate style with the blue oval. went to about 10 junk yards before I finally found it.

cool that ford has some options on the grilles but stinks to find a replacement.

09-10 should be interchangeable. the only one you can't use is the Raptor grille without getting the hood too.

 

I just replaced my chrome 3 bar xlt grille with the complete chrome lariat grille from Ford. It was $230 and then 30 for shipping from Tasca. (tascafordparts.com) Just email them with a vin number of a truck that has the grille you want. Cheapest place to get OEM ford parts that I have found.

 

I can't use the ebay grill I need the complete grill not just inserts.

 

check with your insurance. They may count this as a "comprehensive" claim rather than "collision" so there may not be a deductable and no penalty.
