Default Need help! No Steering wheel lights!

Hi all, my new to me 2010 F150 Platinum has no gear shift indicator lights and no steering wheel lights. I checked the fuse in the passenger side kick panel and it was blown. Found it heavily corroded as well. Felt that was kinda odd. Anyways replaced fuse and still nothing. I also checked most of if not all of the fuses in the engine bay and also found nothing tripped. Everything else works in the truck, well minus the rear window defroster and mirror heat. I also have I think an unrelated problem as well. My horn works intermittently. It seems to have gotten worse and now nothing. When I press the wheel I do hear a relay clicking somewhere. So I am assuming the switch is good. Any thoughts???

Looks like you might have a bad clock spring. You might want to get that taken care of as it might also affect the functionality of the airbag.

Agree with above, also a corroded fuse might mean corroded contacts too, might need to clean them

I'm kinda confused how the clock spring would affect the horn and lights but not cruise control or any other buttons. Plus I am hearing a relay click when depressing the horn. I failed to mention earlier that the locking of the doors via remote no longer activates the horn. I am wondering if the smart junction box is bad?

Yeah sorry about that! I should've included it in original post. I'm wondering if those issues could be caused by a malfunctioning SJB? If so does anyone have an idea on cost of replacement?

The only time I have encountered corrosion in a fuse box was after a vehicle had been resurrected from a flood damaged state.

Hmm that makes it all the odd for me. Well other than water damage what the heck would cause a corroded fuse??! I does look like there is a small old dried up rust rust right under SJB. I do have a moon roof and a Sirius antenna...

As I mentioned water entry sounds like a very possible problem, could be from anywhere, only way to test where is to wet the car and look from where it's coming in, smart junction boxes can be bought, no clue how much it would cost
