Rymax101, yes you are right. It has a hi low switch.
So, that being said, the PAC would solve my problem, without having to get a new head unit?

Yes but you are going to have to modify the pac harness for the wires coming out of the amp that you want to run to the speakers. I'll see if I can get a picture and post it up

OK here is a picture of the pac harness I had in my jeep before I sold it. The pac module is spliced into the wires in between the connectors (its made with just output in mind). I just cut the wire just after the splice making sure the part that plugs into the radio is still attached to the pac module. Then the now loose wires that will be attached to the connector that will plug into your vehicle harness are the wires that you will connect the output wires of your amp to. Thus completing the circle of life. haha

So, where does the amp come in?
And where do the RCA's come in?
I am really all new to this?
I would take a pic of the amp, but I don't even know how to do that.

There's a link for the product manual. the side with the rca's is the input side. You have the choice with this unit to input with rca's or just speaker wire. You can use the pac harness to convert to rca or just tap the speaker wires and run those to the unit. But the pac harness will give you the extra wire to cut for the input wires so you don't cut the vehicle harness. The power side of he unit is the output side. so those are the wires that will connect to the vehicle harness wires like I said which will run to your speakers. I really like that the pac harness give you the amp turn on wire. makes things very easy

I used the NVX MVPA4 amplifier from Sonicelectronix and the 8ga wiring kit.
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...NVX-MVPA4.html

The amp fits beneath the radio in the center console. That reduces the amount of wiring you have to do. It also has high and low voltage inputs. It sounds great to me.

I should be able to produce a pic of the wiring diagram for the 2011:

Rymax101, I am really new at this so remember that. Feather that schematic completely confuses me!
What do you recommend that I use to splice in the wires? Crimps?
I am so afraid of cutting wires on the vehicle.
So let's see....
The vehicle wiring harness connects to the PAC, The PAC connects to the amp, and the amp connects to the head unit?

Guess I need to but the PAC and see it to understand?
But, since I do not have RCA's on the head unit, I have to splice in somewhere....

The amp output wires will connect to the wires on the pac wiring harness. The wires that go into the plug that goes to the vehicle plug

Yea man you are way over thinking this. it is very simple. Get the pac harness for your radio. that is what will give you the rca's plugs to get the speaker signals to the amp. from the amp you will take the output wires and just use some crimps and connect them to the wires where you are going to have to cut the pac harness ( view my picture I posted). and then the last thing will be to crimp the amp turn on wire on the amp to the wire on the pac harness. Just respond here if you have more questions. If I don't see it im positive someone on here will be able to help
