So I`ve had my abs ,brake and advance trac lights come on recently after an 800km drive. Prior to that it had come on once a few months back but quickly had gone away, now its pretty much permanently on. It did go off for a few minutes however.

I don`t know where to start with this one. It seems like it could be a host of things.. instrument cluster, abs module, a faulty wire, steering wheel sensor, steering rack modules, etc ...

I checked my speed sensors from all 4 wheels and theyre all registering the same numbers so I doubt its the speed sensors. I resetted the faults with forescan and the warnings cleared until I turn and pick up speed ...usually past 20-30 kmh and the all the warnings come back on again.

So i have no clue where to start.

btw its a 2014 XTL

Did you ever get this fixed? Having same issues,same codes. 2009 XLT.

 

I changed the throttle body just in case and still the same error from time to time, usually after waiting on idle for long or stuck in traffic. Check cables going in the steering rack, wheels, negative ground points around the truck

 

same thing here. U0028-08 Bus A. comm error. Am able to read engine codes ok but when it come to SRS and ABS, unable to read. Have checked all connections, wiring(not seeing any breaks). This happened after I replaced the ABS module.
Almost close to taking truck to guy that can fix it.

 

I had the same issues with my 21.After dealer trip,reading multiple threads and watching several videos,I replaced both batteries. Problem solved. The batteries are going on 5 years old by now.

 

I ended up fixing this myself. The ground connection , I think the one around the air box or in that general area was very loose . I cleaned it and tightened it up properly and never had this issue again
