I left the house early this morning, it was cold 40-50? No slippage.

Mine does it no matter what the temp now.

I had a date this past thursday with the Field Engineer to look at my issues but I suffered a Heart Attack on Wednesday morning and returned home on Friday late afternoon so I need to reschedule.

Tried it this morning. 35 degrees and no slippage. No matter how much of a hurry I am in. I ALWAYS let my truck run until the RPM's go below 1000. ALWAYS. I know that doesn't work the tranny but maybe letting the engine warm up a few minutes would help your problem.

The 6 speed trans does have a dip stick, but it is short, screwed in and is accessed from under the truck (big bolt looking thing on the passenger front side of the trans next to the catalytic converter).

Just stated for those who want to know.

Wish me luck everyone. I am meeting the Field Engineer today for my issues. Truck is at dealer awaiting his arrival. Problem is now very severe in that I can get into the truck, start it, put on seatbelt and place it in reverse and the truck won't move for at least 10-15 secs....

Good luck with your truck, and more importantly, your health!

Update...

Engineer confirmed issue and suspects Torque Converter but is still looking into it. He did test another vehicle on the dealer lot to confirm, so lets hope this is fixed soon. Will keep everyone posted.

Glad to hear it. The poll made it clear this was not a wide spread problem but that doesn't minimize what you're experiencing, glad they're making progress!
