I looked at both adapters when adding bazzoka tubes to my stereo(sync). I went with the pac audio adapter because I do have the sync system. But I did find on several different sites that when using the Metra adapter you may have to move wires in the adapter itself to get the correct setup for your specific truck. Hope this helps.
