Anyone know what Ford is using for the vapor barrier (plastic sheeting under door panels)? In the past we have used butyl adhesive or butyl tape to get the job done, however it looks like ford is using some sort of foaming adhesive that may be reusable, however with me doing work in these cold temps it isn't working well. It stick to the sheeting in spots and in other spots stuck to the door...making my latch and wiring harness replacement a bit more of a pain in the *** than j would prefer. I also like to try to keep everything OEM when it comes to things like this if within reason, otherwise I'll go back to my butyl adhesive I normally use.
