Yea you could call it that. I'm sure if a cop wanted to be a dink, he would call it distracted driving.

As for the code, they're in there writting away. Why not change a 0 to a 1 or however it works.

Changing to a bigger tire size can affect the GPS performance. It relies on something called "dead reckoning". If your vehicle loses its GPS connection for any amount of time (going under a bridge for an example), it will re-calibrate your current position based on the tire rotation. Disconnecting the battery is a temporary fix, the only true way to fix this is to change the tire size/gear ratio via a tuner or through ford service. Ford charged me an .5 hour of labor to fix mine after upgrading from 32's to 33's.

After my tire size change I disconnected my battery and it fixed the Nav issue. It has been over 2 years ago and I've not had any problems since.

Disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes about fixes it.
