Nav is inaccurate
Hey all!
My nav system incorrectly locates my vehicle. Im guessing my location is appx. 100 - 150 yards from where the nav system shows my location. Is there a way of resetting the system to get my location properly triangulated?
Also, while driving to a programmed destination, the "voice" assistance volume is so low I can barely hear the instructions. I do not see any setting to increase the volume on the voice assist.
Could these two issues be related?
I have a 2013 Platinum 5.0 SCREW with Sony and Subwoofer.
Thanks!

Boost :)
Disconnecting battery for 10-15 minutes will reset GPS and usually will fix it. This also happens if you happen to have larger than factory tires.
The voice can be turned up with the volume ****. However, you have to do it while she is talking. There is a separate volume for the stereo, voice, and phone as well. All controlled with the volume ****. There is also a voice command to increase her volume but I can't remember what it is. Easier to just turn up.

As it just so happens, I recently swapped new tires from the factory 275/55/20 (32") to 275/65/20 (34") and the location problems started around that time.
Is there a work around to get everything on point again?

Change in tire size creates the problem. Like mentioned above, disconnect the battery for 10-15 minutes. Reconnect and all will be good again.
Turn the radio volume **** up while GPS voice is speaking. Will only change GPS volume not radio volume.

Mine does the same thing, annoys the heck out of me but I hadn't looked in to it because I still have a standalone Garmin too. Thanks for the thread, looks like I should reset with battery.

Wait till it wrongly takes you on a wild goose chase, way out of your way, to end up at your destination!

Bought my '12 Lariat used. Farted around with it in the driveway that first weekend, trying to learn everything there was to know about it. Monday I drove to work and MY STEREO KEEPS CUTTING OUT!
Then I realized it was only cutting out momentarily. Just before corners and at the corners. That's when I realized I left a route active and the nav volume was turned way down!
Spent two hours that night scouring the manual until I discovered you have to adjust the nav/phone, etc volume when that function is currently "speaking".

That's annoying as hell, why couldn't ford put an option to adjust her voice in the settings?
