Default Mysterious Ignition

While removing items from the rear seat of my 2012 f150 SCREW my ignition turned on. I was no where near it. I saw the dash light up, the fuel pump whiz etc... I went to the drivers door and checked the key. It was in the off position. When I removed it the ignition shut off. When I put it back in it would come on and off if I jiggled the key. Now I started the truck, moved the steering wheel, shut it back off and it still does the same thing. Keys are out of it now and it sits quietly while I wait for an appointment next week to get it "looked at".
Anyone else with this issue or answers in case the person "looking at it" never heard of it before?

simple fix, don't leave your key in the ignition till you are ready to start it.

jomedic,

I'm sure your dealer will get to the bottom of this for you! If you need anything in the future, let me know.

Default Thanks for the first two useless answers

I wasn't doing shrooms and I'll leave my keys in the ignition in my garage if I want to. I'm glad I wasted my time posting the problem.
Ignition was replaced and is all better now. Thanks Ford Customer Service for painting the ray of hope.

Sounds like a simple fix. Be glad it was reproducible. Otherwise I bet dealer would have accused you of using shrooms too!
