A turn signal means absolutely nothing, never has never will. At most it is just a courtesy that the driver may change direction if they desire. Over 40 years ago this was taught to us in drivers ed., and I live by that to this day. Practice "defensive driving" and never trust the other driver. Bet those tow hooks put some pretty good gouges in her side.
They cut open the door pretty good.

Well she is back and as good as new! Paint matches perfectly!
