Lol it's rated for 10k but the actual clevis probably isn't even 6.5k. A 3/4" clevis is rated for only 11.5k and they have a huge size difference.

It's 3:73 rear end. For those who decided to watch the video and ran to the last page..... I have read all the comments and am now fully aware of the catapulting 35lb ball, lives in danger at every turn, sand in eyes possibility. I will take it into consideration for any future pulls. Tough crowd.
Btw this was access 5 on SPI.

You are correct. There WERE 2 at the start. Would I have left the 4 min video up, you would have seen that they simply tied 1 knot of an already broken strap to my front hook and it never had a chance.

I use a tri-ball as my anchor point in the rear. and a loop around the shank not just a ball. As they are all welded on and the strap is secure so it will not slip off. I beleive the D-ring receiver is the best solution, however I do not do enough where the very slight increase in safety warrants the additional cost, etc. Most of my pulls are cars out of snow etc.
Just my 2 cents
