Man, I'm probably more excited about this than I should be, but I finally have a working flip key for my 2010 Lariat! I bought a set of these off ebay about a year ago. Went everywhere trying to get them cut - Ace, home depot, Lowe's, Walmart. They wouldn't do it, even with the blank removed from the fob. A locksmith said he'd do one for $40 and I said hell no. Fast forward to this week when I had the urge to tackle this again, and I found another locksmith that cut them for $1 each. Score! I did have to shape them up a little with a Dremel and file, but it works as it should.

I ordered qty 2 of these, from the same seller. At the bottom of the description is a string of alpha-numeric identifiers. Make sure one of these matches the fcc ID that is on the back of your stock key fob. Mine is CWTWB1U331.
Yes, you can definitely program the key and fob yourself, if you have two original keys that came with the truck. That's what I did. The instructions are in your trucks user manual.
This is what I found to work for my 2010 when I was doing research a year ago. I don't remember what other years this specific key/remote this will work with. There are several other threads though on this site about flip keys.
