Default My first "mod"

I know this isn't much but, I did my first modification to my truck.
I found that the rear seats fold down to reveal some unused storage. This is perfect for extra clothes, jumper cable, first aid kits and things like that.

After I got the seat folded I drilled a hole in the peg, put a key ring on it and then tied some paracord from the ring to the headrest.

The only reason I did it is because I constantly have multiple jackets laying around in the truck due to work. Now I have a place for them!

I know this isn't anything crazy to do but it is the very first thing I have done to the truck since I got it a year ago other than tires and normal maintenance.

If anyone wants more info on this let me know.
I'm not sure if there is a thread on this or not. I found a YouTube video about it.

I used a 3/32 bit.
The key ring seemed to fit that well. It doesn't move around a lot.

I would like to do this to mine one day. Right now I have a zip tie wrapped around the peg. It works but I have to be careful and pull it straight up so it doesn't slip off.

I thought about the zip tie but for $5.95 and about 30 minutes of time I figured I would just go ahead and do it! Totally worth it. Keeps my truck less cluttered wth jackets and such already.

Nice. Someone had the brains to make a product for this. This should go in the $50 mod thread.

Thanks for this post! Did the same keyring mod and added some straps. Was a pain just to access my amps.
