Does this apply to crew cab only or do the super cabs also have fold down back seats? I looked at mine and the seat back is tight against the back cab wall.

Super cabs I believe you're already able to open.

Saw the dude on the YouTube do this and decided to make her happen the first night I had her.
It's easier than I would have imagined drilling the hole in that cylindrical little pin, she's a real mild steel, use a nice, new sharp 3/32 bit and you're ****in' golden.
Good place to store your tow cables, breaker bar, socket set, machete, Pistols etc. etc. and so on and so forth.
Maybe not for you folks, but for me, she's a bastard to close back up after she's opened, I have to lift the lower seat up while pushing the seat back into place fiddling with her like a teenager after the prom till she clicks into place.
Nasdarovia!

Supercabs are not easily accessible, but there is storage space back there. I have yet to do this mod, but have needed to get behind the rear seat to run wires for a backup camera as there is a vent that goes out the back of the cab behind the rear seat.

That pin is mild steel. A drill bit will zip right thru it. I did this mod a couple years ago on the left and right hand fold down seats in my screw.

I just did this mod, as well as order OEDRO's underseat storage bin.

I got my 2012 F150 this past May (2019). Prior to that I had a 2011 F350 which came with an underseat storage bin from Ford, and the rear seats had a side lever you pulled to get them to fold forward. Guess both of those stock features spoiled me.

And in the Super Duty, the underseat storage has one 12v aux plug and you can lock it so the seat can not be flipped up.

Seems silly to me Ford didn't put that same effort into the F150 line.
