Default My 14 FX4 was leaking!!

We had a lot of rain last night, so the roof of the truck had water pooled on top and when I backed down the driveway water started to leak into the front passengers side and right rear. I've driven in the rain and washed the truck and hadn't had a problem until today. It only leaked when I accelerated or braked for the first couple minutes of driving.

So I drove right to the dealership and about 1 hour later they said it was fixed and that the leak came from the xm antenna. I guess there's a track that runs from front to back that the water got into. I'll let everyone know if it's fixed tomorrow as it's going to rain again tonight.

Yes but fortunately I didn't have a wet floor like the guy in the other thread and it was a quick fix... Hopefully.

It amazes me that we managed to put a man on the moon in '69, but can't make water tight vehicles in 2014!

Same here, not much of a seal on the light just add a little RTV silicone on it to seal it tight.

Definitely keep us posted, MFordFX4. If you need my assistance, send me a PM with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and servicing dealership. I'll get this moved up the line.

Unfortunately after 2 trips to the dealership, it is still leaking. I'll PM you.

Thanks.
