Muffler Q
I do not know much about exhaust... So I am planning on putting magnaflow muffler thru local shop to put pipes on (will stock pipes work and be the same as aftermarket pipes)?
For the muffler the shorter the louder it will be right? Should I order a 11" or 14" muffler, and does the size of inlet/outlet for muffler matter for sound? Should I tell them to do 2.5" / 3" piping out if I dont keep stock pipes or does that size really matter... I read up not to have pipes not to small or to big and 2.25"-3" would be good. Also does it matter where the exit points are on the muffler? Like some are center and offset, should I just do center/center or offset/offset or center/offset ect... that only matters on how piping is coming out I am guessing / personal preference?
I think im going to do just single in and single out and have tip behind rear tire like the stock with a 4" TIP. I just want a nice loud deep sound, whats the best setup I should ask for at the local shop for piping.
Also should I tell them to take out the resinator to get a better sound? What is the purpose of the resinator? Is that legal to remove in most states?
Thanks for looking/helping!

Also do you think its possible that I can sale my stock exhaust system (muffler/resinator, pipes) after removal on craigslist or something... do people actually buy stock stuff and what not? and if so what is a reasonable price i should charge? having 20k miles on the muffler (does that matteR) and no rust and in good condition.
