Default more top end.

I just got done racing a friends tundra and I'm not happy. I have a 2012 stx with a tuner, cold air, and exhaust. He has a 2007 with cold air. Start of race I launched and took him by a truck and a half but around 60 to 70 he passed me. Thoughts on what I need to do next to my truck.

You want more top end? Boss intake manifold.

The 5.7L in the Tundra is a helluva motor. I saw a guy at the truck with the four door (whatever the hell Toyota calls the cab) click a string of 14.6s right off the showroom floor.

I was looking at boss manifold and was wondering if it would but right up to my cold air or if I had to change it.

Dis interwebz is seriouz bizness don't ya no!

Don't even mention the words STREET and RACING in the same sentence or it's thread lock time.

And I agree.... this race easily sounds like a track one.... but hey you can twist whatever you want into whatever you want when your wear a moderator hat. However the fact it's not locked means maybe some agree.
