So on my 2013 I tried to update the sync program and the directions say it could take up to 5 to 10 minutes. I let it go almost 20 and it never said it was complete. And does the truck really have to be running to do this?

 

Yes, i did mine about a month ago and it took about 50mins of running time to do it. I only had to be there for the first 5 mins then i locked the door and went inside. Came back out at 45 mins and waited the next 5 mins in the truck. Had no probs whatsoever.

I was warned ahead of time on the online instructions it would take an hour. Odd yours said 5-10 mins.
