Default Moisture in headlights

I noticed earlier this week that one of my headlights has moisture inside the housing. Have DDM 35W HIDs installed but have not had any other issues with moisture in my other light or the fog lights. Anyone know what I can do to get rid of this problem and is it going to cause a problem with my light?

I have noticed this in my Harley tail lights. I am unsure why as well. I thought about taking my bulbs out and putting some gel lube like battery terminal grease or vasoline around the rubber gaskets. Not sure if it will help but we will see.

From your owners manual:
Lamp assembly condensation
Exterior lamps are vented to accommodate normal changes in pressure.
Condensation can be a natural by-product of this design. When moist air
enters the lamp assembly through the vents, there is a possibility that
condensation can occur when the temperature is cold. When normal
condensation occurs, a thin film of mist can form on the interior of the
lens. The thin mist eventually clears and exits through the vents during
normal operation. Clearing time may take as long as 48 hours under dry
weather conditions.

Examples of acceptable condensation are:

Presence of thin mist (no streaks, drip marks or droplets)

Fine mist covers less than 50% of the lens

Examples of unacceptable moisture (usually caused by a lamp water
leak) are:
Water puddle inside the lamp

Large water droplets, drip marks or streaks present on the interior of

the lens

Take your vehicle to a dealer for service if any of the above conditions of
unacceptable moisture are present.

Yup, did you modify the dust cap for the HID, thats usually the culprit. To get rid of it if your in a warm climate just park it in direct sun all day or remove the headlamp assembly, bring it inside, remove the dust cap and slowly heat with a heat gun from the outside of the lens.

Make sure that cap is sealed properly or it will just happen again.

How do you modify the cap?
