Question Modification of Jump Seat Storage Compartment

Hey folks, quick question for those of you who have that center jump seat that folds down into an armrest/storage compartment. The storage space is terrible and I feel like Ford could have made the whole back of the seat into a large storage space (unless I am missing some sort of technical reason). All I can find is people who have removed it to swap it for a flow through console, etc.

Has anyone done anything with that to enlarge or alter it in any way?

Thanks guys,
Anthony

Coming from a jump seat without storage on top, I can say having one with any type of storage has been fantastic, regardless if its awkwardly shapped, but I too am curious to see what folks say.

I believe it is shaped like that because of the seat belt on it. I'm not 100% sure but that's all I could figure.

I bought mine to have the jump seat to haul 6 people,it has storage in the top section along with cup holders plus storage in the bottom that most folks don't see rite off the bat. It's a great set up for me

I've seen people enlarge the bottom, which I might do soon, but I haven't seen anyone modify that weird triangle like space behind the cup holders.

Whats with the indentation next to the triangle part? I see no use for that at all. Wait it will hold a slim jim for rover.
