Default missing on a hill

My Truck just started missing. I can make it do it when Iam coming up Cajon pass and just slightly lean into it in 6t gear. No check eng light as of yet...anyone have this problem? fix?..53000 miles on odo

No offense...theres about 50 threads on this...with a lot of discussion in the stickied "shudder" thread and the stickied "condensation" thread, as well as a lot of discussion in the spark gap threads, etc.

Yes, I have it, many others do too.

Anyway to answer your question, yeah I have that as well, the dealership tried flashing the trany its much better but not fixed, I believe Ford has stated this is a normal characteristic of our trucks

I wasn't talking about your given info I was talking about the way you were giving him the info seemed kind of...well it doesn't matter...anyways what misinformation are you talking about I was told that by Ford and many of the threads I've read had the same info from ppl... The refresh did work for mine for a bit...

Theres a difference between misfire and shudder...he stated misfire. These two issues keep getting lumped together in the forums, but they are different.

For the misfire, some say that regapping plugs fixes it. Some have had coils replaced which solved it. Others have said the new intercooler fixed it. If it really is a misfire as he describes, its not characteristic and has nothing to do with the tranny. On mine, when it misfires you can feel the truck jerk and can hear the turbos come in and out of boost. Pretty sure that is the issue he is having if he is appropriately calling it a misfire.
