Default Mirrors. Again. Sorry. More dumb questions inside.

Ok... so a while back, I posted about swapping my basic tow mirrors on my 2010 with the 13-14/SD style ones. It was confirmed doable, and once I looked into it it was pretty easy.... BUT. Those mirrors are 400$ each 😳😳😳.... not paying that for mirrors if they're not made of gold.

My next idea, SD mirrors! The only thing I care about is the plastic bit. Wiring I can change, and bolts I can change. Will the trim fit up ok? If so I'm going to order those... way more affordable. Hopefully someone has tried, or has an extra one sitting around to compare...

thanks in advance.

Why not just get the 1A autos for right around $500 that are guaranteed to fit?

The part of the mirror that rests against the door is completely different between the F150 and the SD trucks. There's no easy way of making it work while still keeping a stock look.

Just checked two places that carry them, free shipping.

Unless superduty powerfolding mirror prices have drastically dropped, the last time I priced them they were still around $800+ used for an oem set.

Alright looks like I'm dropping 600$ for the ones that are plug and play. Thanks all.
