Default Mirror Blinker Mod Question

I did the blinker mod to the front of my mirrors like many of you did. I absolutely love them but have started to wonder if I should have used the extra bright LEDs from Autozone instead of the regular LEDs.

I notice that in the daylight mine are hard to see. Have you guys noticed this on yours as well? What about those that did use the bright ones - any drawbacks?

Blinker mod link is in my sig.

I didn't get ones that indicated "extra bright" or anything like that. Mine are hard to see in direct sunlight too. If it's cloudy or the sun starts to set then they really stand out.

...while I wish they were brighter during the day, I have to think that might make them too bright at night. They're just the right brightness when its not in the direct sun.

One thing you could consider is doubling up your LED strips (in case you only put one line in). That helps.

Here's a single strip vs the double:

Not sure which ones I bought at auto zone but they seem pretty bright to me. Maybe not in direct sun light but what light is bright in the sun?

I know what you mean; the bright ones may be too bright at night. I guess I will stay how I am. Those two rows of LEDs are nice though!
