In the middle of changing out headlights to aftermarket. The aftermarket light retailing clips are cheap and one broke. How do you get the oem clips on as I removed one from original light and I can’t force it on where the clip goes. Are you supposed to wiggle them on or force them on?

 

These clips? I think those just pop on.

 

Yes those clips but they won’t slide on this aftermarket light. I was able to get it on just enough to hold and finished install. I tried searching and all those posts I founds mentioned the aftermarket clips break easy but didn’t find anything on how people were getting these to fit. Appreciate the reply though
