MFT to Sync 3 Conversion, Bad APIM?
I completed the MFT/Sync 2 to Sync 3 conversion and all was well for a couple of weeks. Now I am having an intermittent problem with what seems to be all of the sound cutting out except for the tweeters. It doesn't happen with any rhyme or reason, shock doesn't seem to affect it. Could this be a problem with the APIM that I swapped out?
When I get a chance, I'm going to try swapping back to the MFT APIM and Screen and see if that makes a difference, but was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or ideas. I don't think it is any of the Forscan settings since it worked great for a couple of weeks.
I should add that I have done a APIM reset, and an ACM reset via Forscan. I have not tried a Sync Master Reset yet, because after the other resets didn't help, I didn't figure the Sync Master Reset would either.

Lots of people have had issues with the speaker wiring in the doors. Maybe clean those up first. Master Reset is a joke.
Ooh, what is the audio source when this happens? Any? If it is just bluetooth or USB through your phone, I'd look at that as the problem.

It is on radio. Happens with FM or Sirius. I can change between sources when it's out and it doesn't change anything. It just seems to come and go it it's leisure.
All of that process is actually the ACM, switching and both radios. I would say you don't have enough to diagnose anything, yet. Try your APIM swap test, maybe it will tell you something.
