You can see in this picture that the driver's side rear headrest is down, and the passenger side rear headrest is up because of my daughter's car seat. When I don't have the car seat in there, I have both folded down, and I don't see either one in my rear view mirror. I also don't notice them when I turn my head to check my blind spot.

I love the MFT in these trucks. I had it in my '11 Explorer, and it was nice. I just like having everything available on a single screen versus a stack of buttons to memorize.

The one thing that the Explorer had better was the dash. The dual screens was very nice, could control the features on MFT from the steering wheel.

I love the MFT interface, but there is one thing that really bugged me. When I am controlling my ipod through the touchscreen it takes FOREVER to load the menus. Maybe its because I have so much on my ipod, or it was trying to read it all initially? Anyone else experiencing this on the 13's?

You guys are hilarious. I've never had a problem looking out my rear window with the headrests in my 12' FX4. Makes me wonder if we have a bunch of hobbits driving trucks.

Lol no kidding, it never crossed my mind looking out the back window. Grab a phone book for your seat.

I'm 6' 3" and I had trouble seeing out the rear! My problem is that my current truck is a 2009 Silverado, and the rear headrests sit almost out of view so you have the ENTIRE window in your rear view mirror. At any of the F150's I looked at, it was hard to deny the fact that the rear head rests are directly infront of the window and minimize the open area.

I love my 2013 MFT. I had a 2011 with the sony nav and it was much slower than the new system. I miss being able to download my CD's directly instead of having to use a MP3 though. Overall the new system is much better to me. The navigation has worked great. Much more precise than the old Sony nav. Also dont have to wait for the rear view camera to work now. With the 2011 I would be put of a parking spot before it booted up and was actually on, the new one come on immeadiately. And I dont know if its a better camera or the display is better but I can actually see whats behind me on the screen at night now.

Well... I retract my rating, been on two road trips the past two weekends. Raleigh to Rock Hill, SC and Raleigh, NC to Clemson, SC. Both were round trips and both used MFT Navigation. Apparently my truck thinks it's a raptor, because I would be going down the interstate at 70mph and the lil arrow would just jump off the road. Then it would decided to get back on the road 5 minutes later. At times the arrow would be a good quarter mile behind where I was on the road. Upgrading to the MFT was one of the reasons I traded up and now it's making me regret it. The Navigation in my 2010 was no where near as nice, but never glitched at all. The only times I would have problems with it is when I would drive down roads that were built since the truck was built. Headed to the Dealership tomorrow to get things figured out, not a happy camper right now...
